Even in the face of adversity, our small businesses have remained steadfast, providing essential services and stabilizing our communities without interruption. It is time to deepen our investment in the entrepreneurs and enterprises that continue to serve with resilience and purpose.
To that end, District 7 has partnered with Decide DeKalb, the county’s business development arm, to create meaningful pathways for local business owners to thrive. Our collaborative efforts include expanding access to education, funding, mentorship, and strategic resources tailored to the unique needs of our district. In addition, we are leveraging corporate relationships to elevate the visibility of small business brands and exploring partnerships with the school district to align career development initiatives. Together, these efforts form a bold and inclusive strategy to fuel economic vitality and empower the business community at the heart of DeKalb.
